Refund policy

REFUND, CANCELLATIONS & STORE CREDIT

Lucys dress hire does not provide refunds under any circumstances, except in cases where an item is significantly faulty and deemed unwearable, as determined by Lucy's dress hire.

Customers are encouraged (if local) to arrange a try-on prior to rental to ensure appropriate fit and satisfaction.

Refunds are only granted if there is a major fault, and the item is deemed unwearable (unwearable will be decided on our terms).

To qualify for refund due to a major fault, the customer must notify Lucy's dress hire within one hour of receiving the garment.

Refunds or store credit will not be given for garments exhibiting minor wear and tear. Minor wear and tear include, but is not limited to, small marks, fluff, loose threads, slight discolouration, and similar imperfections, as all garments are rental items, minor signs of use are expected and acceptable.

All garments undergo thorough inspection before dispatch. To qualify for a refund due to receiving unwearable garment, customers must immediately notify Lucy's dress hire within one hour of delivery, providing photographic evidence or returning the garment in person.

The customer must retain and provide a postage lodgement receipt as proof of return if requested.
