Shipping policy

The renter is responsible for the cost of shipping (both ways). The express shipping fee for prepaid satchels are available for $30(express postage is $15 each way - to the sender and returned express postage to me), which will be added to your rental cost. Please note larger garments are $40 express return post.  

Lucys dress hire will not be held liable for any damage, lost, or late deliveries by Australia post -if any of this occurs throughout your hire, this will be at the lenders expense and Lucy's dress hire will not take responsibility.

Proof of lodgement must be provided, as well as the tracking number upon the return of your hire. All postage hires must be returned the day after your hire date to your local AUS post office before 12pm with a photo of lodgement receipt sent to me once it is sent off.

It is the responsibility of the client to place their order with sufficient time for their hire to arrive to their address, refunds will NOT be awarded if postal hires arrive outside of Australia Posts expected delivery estimates.

If the tracking number shows evidence that the parcel has been lodged by Lucy's dress hire, but garment does not reach the client in time, Lucy's dress hire will NOT issue a refund. This is due to a delay or fault with a third-party (Australia Post).

In the event of a change of heart, incorrect sizing, or cancellation after the garment has been posted, a refund/credit WILL NOT be awarded.

POSTAGE RETURN SATCHEL

A pre-paid return satchel will be provided with your rental order at the cost of $15 on top of your hire. Please use this satchel to return the dress to me at the end of rental period.

All postage rentals need to be taken to your closest Aust Post office before 12pm the next day after your event. If the hire is put into any post box, the lender will be liable for late fees ($20 day). It is important to ensure the garments are taken to Aus Post office, otherwise this creates delays and can take up to 2 weeks to return to Lucy's dress hire, which then causes issues if dress is booked out back-to-back.
