To make a booking please do so through website or send a message via Instagram or TikTok outlining the following.

Garment you would like to hire

Rental dates

Pickup or shipping

All bookings must be paid in full via bank transfer and a copy of photo ID must be provided for safety reasons. Once garment has been returned, the copy of the photo ID will be deleted. A receipt of the transfer must be provided.

Booking is confirmed once the full payment has been made and the client's information has been provided. Such information includes but is not limited to, full name, phone number, postal address, and a government issued ID (drivers' licence or passport).

Lucys dress hire reserves the right to cancel a booking if.

Client information has not been provided

A garment has been damaged by the previous client or delayed by Aus post.

Lucys dress hire is responsible for cancelling a booking and payment has been made, the client will receive a full refund, * please note processing refunds takes approx. 48hrs depending on your bank*

The rental period is 3-4 days. Extended hire periods are available under certain circumstances dm for more info.

Lucys dress hire takes no responsibility for orders where an incorrect address has been provided, if you have supplied an incorrect address, you will not be entitled to a refund/credit of any kind and you will be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us.

TRY ON APPOINTMENTS

To book a try-on, please complete the following.

Direct message with the garment/s you would like to try on preferred date to try on and date of event.

Try on appointments can be arranged and in some cases are encouraged to ensure the dress fits properly. Try-on appointments encounter a $10 fee which will be deducted from the rental price (if hired within 48hrs). If the client cancels their appointment, no-shows or does not hire a garment, the $10 will not be refunded.

Damage during a try-on appointment will be treated the same as damages from a rental

(REFER TO GARMENT CARE AND DAMAGES).

Please do not wear make-up or fresh fake tan to a try-on appointment as any stains that come as a result will be treated as damages (refer to garment care and damages). These may require cleaning fees and/or full RRP in the case of non-repairable damage.

DAMAGES

Any damages that occur whilst the garment is in your rental period (including but not limited to stains, rips, pulls, or tears) you will be liable for the repair cost. If the rented garment is unfixable and deemed unhireable due to damages beyond repair, the lender must pay the full RRP of the garment, including postage to get the garment sent to us.

When hiring our garments it is expected that the garment will be treated with the upmost care and respect. If there is a fault that you were not aware of when you collect your hired piece, you must notify us within the first hour of receiving the item - otherwise you will be held liable for the damage expenses. The damaged garments must also be returned immediately if deemed unwearable (based off Lucy's dress hire judgement).

Clients are required to take precautionary care of our garments when hiring. We ask all clients to be cautious around food, drinks makeup, fake tan jewellery, and with anything that may cause pulls or scratches to delicate materials such as knit or silk variations.

During your rental period, if you notice you have made a damage, please inform us as soon as possible so we can organise repairs and can let the following girls who have hired for their upcoming weekend know.

DRY CLEANING

The hire price of every item INCLUDES the dry-cleaning fee.

Please under NO circumstances you are to dry clean or clean the hired garment yourself.

Please refrain from cleaning the dress yourself as improper cleaning may damage the garment.

By hiring with Lucy's dress hire, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Legal action may be taken if a client does not comply with these terms and conditions/ does not comply with resolving issues.

These terms form a legally binding contract.
